Description
The MAX31180 is a low-jitter, crystal-based clock generator with an internal PLL that produces spread-spectrum outputs from 16MHz to 134MHz. It offers selectable clock multipliers of 1x, 2x, and 4x, and modulation magnitudes of ±0.5%, ±1.0%, or ±1.5%. The device includes spread-spectrum disable and power-down modes to reduce power consumption. Its low power usage, wide operating temperature range, and compact 8-pin package make it ideal for automotive, modem, printer, and computer-related applications.
