ترا‌نسيورهاي 78Q2123 و 78Q2133 از خانواده MicroPHY، کوچک‌ترين ترنسيورهاي اترنت سريع (Fast Ethernet) 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX در بازار هستند. اين تراشه‌ها شامل MII داخلي، ENDEC، اسکرامبلر/ديسکرمبلر، بازيابي کلاک با دو سرعت و عملکردهاي کامل Auto-Negotiation مي‌باشند. بخش فرستنده شامل يک پالس‌شکل‌دهنده داخلي و درايور خط کم‌مصرف است و بخش گيرنده داراي اکولايزر تطبيقي و مدار بازيابي خط پايه جهت دقت در بازيابي کلاک و داده است. اين تراشه‌ها به کابل‌هاي CAT-5 UTP براي کاربردهاي 100BASE-TX و CAT-3 UTP براي کاربردهاي 10BASE-T متصل مي‌شوند و به ترنسفورمرهاي ايزولاسيون 1:1 دوگانه نياز دارند، بدون نياز به فيلتر خارجي. اتصال به کنترلر MAC از طريق رابط MII مطابق با IEEE-802.3 صورت مي‌گيرد. اين تراشه‌ها براي بازار اترنت تعبيه‌شده طراحي شده‌اند و مناسب استفاده در کنسول‌هاي بازي، مودم‌هاي پهن‌باند، پرينترها، ست‌تاپ‌باکس‌ها و تجهيزات صوتي‌تصويري هستند. مصرف توان پايين و تغذيه با ولتاژ 3.3 ولت دارند. مدل 78Q2123 براي دماي تجاري و مدل 78Q2133 براي دماي صنعتي مناسب است.
Description
The 78Q2123 and 78Q2133, part of the MicroPHY family, are the smallest 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet transceivers available. They feature integrated MII, ENDECs, scrambler/descrambler, dual-speed clock recovery, and complete auto-negotiation functions. The transmitter includes an on-chip pulse shaper and low-power line driver, while the receiver includes an adaptive equalizer and baseline restoration for accurate data and clock recovery. They interface with Cat-5 UTP cables for 100BASE-TX and Cat-3 UTP for 10BASE-T via dual 1:1 isolation transformers, requiring no external filters. Connection to the MAC is through an IEEE-802.3-compliant MII. These devices are targeted for embedded Ethernet applications in game consoles, broadband modems, printers, set-top boxes, and A/V devices. Designed for low power consumption, they operate on a single 3.3V supply. The 78Q2123 is rated for commercial temperature range, while the 78Q2133 supports industrial temperatures.
