تراشه‌هاي يکپارچه Realtek RTL8671B/ RTL8671BH به عنوان راه‌حل‌هاي سيستم-بر-چيپ (SoC) شامل يک پردازنده RISC، يک پمپ داده ADSL2+ Discrete Multi-tone (DMT)، يک مدار سخت‌افزاري براي تقسيم و تجميع ATM (SAR)، دو MAC 10/100Mbps مطابق با استاندارد IEEE 802.3 همراه با يک ترانسيور اترنت داخلي و يک پورت USB PHY هستند. هنگامي که اين تراشه‌ها با Realtek RTL8271B (Front End آنالوگ ADSL2+) جفت مي‌شوند، يک راه‌حل يکپارچه و کم‌هزينه براي مودم‌ها، روترها يا دروازه‌هاي ADSL2+ براي تجهيزات مشتري (CPE) ارائه مي‌دهند.

The Realtek RTL8671B/ RTL8671BH are integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions that feature a RISC processor, an ADSL2+ Discrete Multi-tone (DMT) data-pump, a hardware-based ATM Segmentation and Reassembly (SAR), two 10/100Mbps IEEE 802.3 compliant MACs with an embedded Ethernet transceiver, and a USB PHY port. When paired with the Realtek RTL8271B (ADSL2+ Analog Front End), the RTL8671B/ RTL8671BH offer a low-cost integrated solution for ADSL2+ Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) modems, routers, or gateways.
The RTL8671B/ RTL8671BH incorporate high-performance DSP technologies, optimized mixed-signal designs, and an efficient architecture to deliver seamless WAN-to-LAN router control. The embedded RISC network processor supports the MIPS I instruction set along with DSP extensions and operates at a clock rate of 340MHz with a six-stage pipeline, supporting layer 2, 3, and other upper-layer applications.
