STV0900 داراي يک تصحيح کننده خطاي رو به جلو DVB-S2 با سرعت بالا (FEC) است که براي کنترل تا 180 بيت کانال مگا در ثانيه در ورودي خود طراحي شده است.
براي تغذيه FEC، STV0900 دو دمدولاتور يکسان را پياده‌سازي مي‌کند که هر کدام قادر به مديريت QPSK قديمي، کدگذاري ثابت DVBS2 و مدولاسيون براي پخش ماهواره‌اي و کدگذاري و مدولاسيون پيشرفته براي خدمات تعاملي هستند.
STV0900 از تغيير حالت بر اساس فريم بدون همگام سازي يا از دست دادن داده پشتيباني مي کند.
Description
The STV0900 features a high speed DVB-S2 Forward Error Corrector (FEC) which is designed to handle up to 180 Mega Channel bits per second at its input.
To feed the FEC the STV0900 implements two identical demodulators, each capable of handling QPSK legacy, DVBS2 constant coding and modulation for satellite broadcast and Advanced Coding and Modulation for interactive services.
The STV0900 supports mode switching on a frame basis without synchronization or data loss.
