توضیحات
TEC1-12706 يک نوع ماژول ترموالکتريک (Thermoelectric Cooler) يا به عبارت ساده‌تر، يک المان سردکننده است. اين قطعه الکترونيکي بر اساس پديده پلتير (Peltier effect) کار مي‌کند و با عبور جريان الکتريکي از آن، يک سمت ماژول سرد و سمت ديگر آن گرم مي‌شود.
نحوه کار TEC1-12706
اثر پلتير: زماني که جريان الکتريکي از يک اتصال بين دو نوع نيمه‌رسانا عبور مي‌کند، گرما از يک سمت اتصال جذب شده و به سمت ديگر انتقال مي‌يابد. اين پديده به افتخار ژان پل پلتير، کاشف آن، اثر پلتير ناميده مي‌شود.

Description
TEC1-12706 is a type of thermoelectric module (Thermoelectric Cooler) or, in simpler terms, a cooling element. This electronic component works based on the Peltier effect, and when an electric current passes through it, one side of the module cools and the other side heats.
How TEC1-12706 works
Peltier effect: When an electric current passes through a junction between two types of semiconductors, heat is absorbed from one side of the junction and transferred to the other. This phenomenon is called the Peltier effect in honor of Jean-Paul Peltier, its discoverer.
