توضیحات
USBN9603 و USBN9604 کنترل‌کننده‌هاي نود USB مجتمع هستند. به‌جز مکانيزم ريست مدار توليد کلاک، اين دو دستگاه کاملاً مشابه‌اند و تمامي ارجاعات به "دستگاه" در اين سند، مگر اينکه خلاف آن ذکر شود، به هر دو مدل اشاره دارد. اين دستگاه از DMA بهبوديافته با ويژگي‌هاي متعدد پردازش خودکار داده پشتيباني مي‌کند. همچنين با نسخه‌هاي 1.0 و 1.1 از استاندارد USB سازگار بوده و نسخه پيشرفته‌تري از USBN9602 محسوب مي‌شود. اين تراشه شامل ترنسيور USB موردنياز به همراه رگولاتور 3.3 ولت، موتور رابط سريال (SIE)، حافظه‌هاي FIFO براي نقاط پاياني USB، يک رابط موازي 8 بيتي چندمنظوره، مدار توليد کلاک و رابط MICROWIRE/PLUS™ است. هفت مسير انتقال (endpoint pipe) پشتيباني مي‌شوند: يکي براي کنترل اجباري و شش مسير براي حالت‌هاي وقفه‌اي، حجيم (bulk) و هم‌زمان (isochronous). هر مسير انتقال داراي حافظه FIFO اختصاصي است، 8 بايت براي endpoint کنترل و 64 بايت براي ساير endpointها. رابط موازي 8 بيتي از سبک‌هاي باس آدرس/داده multiplexed و non-multiplexed پشتيباني مي‌کند. همچنين يک سيستم خروجي وقفه قابل برنامه‌ريزي، امکان پيکربندي دستگاه براي نيازهاي مختلف سيگنال‌دهي وقفه را فراهم مي‌سازد.
Description
The USBN9603 and USBN9604 are integrated USB node controllers. Except for the reset mechanism in the clock generation circuit, the two devices are identical. All references to “the device” refer to both unless otherwise noted. The device offers enhanced DMA support with numerous automatic data handling features. It is compliant with USB specification versions 1.0 and 1.1, and is an advanced version of the USBN9602. It integrates the necessary USB transceiver with a 3.3V regulator, a Serial Interface Engine (SIE), USB endpoint FIFOs, a versatile 8-bit parallel interface, a clock generator, and a MICROWIRE/PLUS™ interface. Seven endpoint pipes are supported: one for the mandatory control endpoint and six for interrupt, bulk, and isochronous endpoints. Each pipe has a dedicated FIFO: 8 bytes for the control endpoint and 64 bytes for the others. The 8-bit parallel interface supports both multiplexed and non-multiplexed CPU address/data buses. A programmable interrupt output scheme allows the device to be configured for various interrupt signaling requirements.
