Description
HM4052 is a switch-type single-cell lithium battery charging circuit with dynamic path management. HM4052 can provide 2.5A charging current, which is particularly suitable for devices equipped with ultra-large capacity lithium batteries such as mobile power supplies and tablet computers.
HM4052 integrates a large current synchronous buck module, a charging control module, a dynamic path management, an input current limit automatic detection, and all the functions and protection circuits required for lithium battery charging, such as trickle, constant current, and constant voltage charging; battery over-temperature protection; charging indication; charging current setting without expensive milliohm-level resistors; shutdown when charging time is too long; IC short circuit protection and over-temperature protection, etc.
The SYS and BATT dual-port reverse cutoff function of HM4052 also prevents the battery from backflowing when the input interface is short-circuited. HM4052 also provides a battery removal detection function. At the same time, HM4052 is the world s first switch-type charging circuit that implements dynamic path management in ESOP8.
