HCPL-V454 يک آي سي اپتوکوپلر (Optocoupler) است که براي کاربردهاي با توان بالا طراحي شده است. اپتوکوپلرها دستگاه‌هاي الکترونيکي هستند که از نور براي انتقال سيگنال‌ها بين دو مدار الکتريکي ايزوله شده استفاده مي‌کنند. اين امر باعث مي‌شود که مدارهاي ورودي و خروجي از نظر الکتريکي از هم جدا شده و از تداخلات و نويز جلوگيري شود.
